The AACI would like to announce the newest addition to the SoJam experience: The Producer's Track.
This track is designed for both up-and-coming producers and groups who are looking to learn more about the process of making a top-notch recording.
It provides an unprecedented opportunity to learn from some of the very best (during what is already an incredible weekend, no less).
In particular, acclaimed producer John Clark will be in attendance for this track.
John has spent over ten years doing production work, including projects with the Hyannis Sound, Firedrill!, and none other than Naturally 7.
Reserve your spot today because space is extremely limited!
_____________
Friday 11/7:
Hands-on clinic at diovoce studios with Producers Dave Sperandio, James Cannon, and James Gammon.
Each attendee will have the opportunity to be a Producer for a day "behind the glass" and will also take their turn "in the booth" while recording, editing, and mixing techniques/secrets are shared.
Lunch will be provided by the AACI.
Note that this will require attendees to arrive either on 11/6, or early on 11/7, as the clinic will last the entire day.
Saturday 11/8:
Special 2 hour access-only class with the following Producers: John Clark, Dave Sperandio, Dylan Bell, James Cannon, James Gammon, Steve Ryan, Nick Lyons, and others.
The Producers will provide an in-depth case study of each attendees group and/or recording environment and suggest ways to get the most out of each attendees available resources.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to present specific examples of tracks they like or dislike, and the Producers will help explain how to recreate or avoid similar examples.
Finally, each producer will share one or more "secrets" which they use to make their tracks stand out from the rest.
Bring your notebooks!
Sunday 11/9:
Full day of recording with Firedrill! at Grammy-nominated Osceola Studios!
Attendees will have a chance to observe and participate in an actual recording session with the award-winning Firedrill!, led by John Clark and assisted by Dave Sperandio and the other Producers.
This is an unparalleled opportunity to see the "magic" happening with some of the best in business. The approximate time of the session will be 10:30AM-4:00PM.
Lunch will be provided by the AACI.
