Collegiate Competition — Friday, Nov. 12
-1st place: Duke University’s Rhythm & Blue
-2nd place: University of North Carolina, Greensboro’s Sapphires
-3rd place: Florida State University’s All-Night Yahtzee
Special Awards
-Best Soloist: Amber Sembly of Duke University’s Rhythm & Blue for “Alone”
-Best Vocal Percussion: Brian Watts of Duke University’s Rhythm and Blue
-Best Staging and Choreography: Elizabeth Zombo of Florida State University’s All-Night Yahtzee
-Audience Favorite: Duke University’s Rhythm and Blue
During Saturday’s workshops, Contemporary A Cappella League groups Treble, Euphonism and Red States performed in between classes.
The Saturday night professional showcase featured Sonos and Basix and the CAL group, Clearly Vocal.
